Located at the heart of our community, Hotwells is a friendly and caring school where every child is known, appreciated, and encouraged to flourish.  Although we are a small village school in the city centre, we are always looking to welcome new pupils and their families to join our vibrant school community.

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision and we would love to welcome you to Hotwells Primary School to see what makes our small but mighty school so special. Our prospective parent tours are a chance to see Hotwells in action, visit our classrooms, meet our staff and children and find out more about life at our school. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

What Our Families Say

In our 2026 Parent and Carer Survey, 96% of parents said they would recommend Hotwells to another parent. The same proportion said their child enjoys coming to school and that staff really know their child as an individual. 100% of parents agreed that the school is well led and managed.
